Xiaolei Shi

Xiaolei Shi holds Senior Scientist and Adjunct Assistant Professor roles in both chemical engineering and food science departments. She brings more than 15 years of experience in analytical methods, food chemistry, and pharmaceuticals, as well as a strong background in teaching and training. She leverages her expertise in advanced instrumental analysis and federal regulations, plus established connections with hospitals, government agencies, companies, and universities, in her role as a liaison for UW-Madison’s entrepreneurial teams and the NSF Great Lakes Hub I-Corps DEI program.
