Joanna Bundus

Dr. Joanna Bundus is the Entrepreneurship Program Manager in the Technology Entrepreneurship Office (TEO) at UW–Madison, where she supports innovation and entrepreneurship programs for students, researchers, and early-stage ventures. With experience spanning academic research, biotechnology startups, and technology commercialization, she brings expertise in SBIR-funded innovation, partnership development, and innovation strategy. Prior to joining the TEO, she served as Director of Research at a biotechnology startup, where she managed SBIR projects, industry partnerships, and commercialization initiatives. Joanna earned her Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto, completed postdoctoral research at UC San Diego and UW–Madison, and has participated in entrepreneurial training programs including WARF UpStart and Techstars Venture Deals.
