Transcend UW is campus’s premier student-led entrepreneurship & startup organization, and they are hosting their 11th-annual Pitch Competition. For students interested in participating, read more details on eligibility here and apply at this link by February 16th to secure your spot.
The Pitch Competition is Transcend’s main event in which participants compete for up to $50k in prize money and network with a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem across Wisconsin. Transcend encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration on ventures that have a social or environmental impacts. Students from all majors are welcome to apply or attend.
Participating members attend weeks of events to build and adjust their pitches, including an Intellectual Property Seminar, Project Review Session, and Business Model Training. Attendance to the competition itself is open, with two days of poster sessions and pitch placement rounds. Winners of top three and general prizes are announced after pitches on the second day.
