Two Y Combinator partners, Jared Friedman and Ankit Gupta, are coming to UW-Madison for an exclusive talk on startups. Both started YC companies at 22, raised over $200M, and are now YC partners. They’ll be joined by Corey and Cam, founders of Vovana and UW-Madison class of ’24 grads, who will share their rapid journey from undergrads to Silicon Valley startup founders.
Highlights include:
- How AI is revolutionizing startups and why YC is funding more college founders.
- Debunking startup myths.
- Lessons from YC’s success stories like Stripe, Twitch, Reddit, and Scale AI.
Open to all UW-Madison students, especially those in CS, math, and engineering. A reception with dinner and drinks will follow. Sign up for 1-1 office hours if you’re actively working on a startup.
