The Fundamentals of Market Research (Guest Speaker TBD): This session will explore key market forces, customer discovery, and research methodologies.
Participants will attend the first session together and then choose to attend either the B2B or B2C session on the second evening.
Tuesday, May 13 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Session 2 – Option A | B2B Market Research (Instructor: Peggy Smith): Learn industry-specific tools and resources to size and analyze B2B markets.
Wednesday, May 14 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Session 2 – Option B | B2C Market Research (Instructor: Peggy Smith): Discover consumer-focused research techniques and strategies to understand your customer base.

About the Instructor
Peggy Smith is a Senior Academic Librarian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in business research and data management. She supports students and faculty with their research needs and is a key contributor to the Marketing Leadership Institute, with particular expertise in B2B and B2C market research. Peggy is passionate about empowering others through knowledge and is dedicated to fostering a collaborative learning environment while advancing the field of market research at UW-Madison.
